Before we share our point of view, I would ask you to read Romans 7 and 5 in the Bible. We have used the "New Life Bible" for easier understanding.
What is sin from God's point of view?
Sin is defined as acts, feelings or thoughts that violate God's rules. But as you have read in Romans 7, man has been subject to the compulsion to sin since the first fall of sin, he cannot help it. Sin is sin, but it doesn't matter whether I steal, talk badly about others, have sex before marriage or am homosexual. Thus we are all sinners before God. But God loves man and wanted to free them from this situation. But how was that to happen? God's law is valid and the punishment of sin is death. True, but death also ends the validity of God's law. That is why Jesus Christ died on behalf of all people, he has overruled the law by his death. Through his resurrection, death has been defeated as a punishment. As soon as we believe this, we are no longer subject to the law. Without the law there is no guilt. From then on we are innocent for our "sinful" behaviour. As human beings we will sin again and again, but as reborn Christians we are free from guilt.
Shouldn't the question rather be: Are we human beings guilty before God? As a reborn Christians, we can deny the question that we are guilty. Thus, homosexual reborn Christians are also innocent before God.
